Lagos ranked 4th world’s worst City

                           

Lagos is the fourth worst city in the world, Economist Intelligence Unit, EIU, an independent forecasting and advisory business within the Economist Group has said. And its top worst cities, are scattered around Africa and Asia. Lagos, the fourth on the list, shares its 137 position with Port Moresby, in Papua New Guinea on 38.9 per cent. The report made available yesterday described it as the second-fastest growing city in Africa and the fourth worst city on earth.

I really miss sex and intimacy

Hi guys. I have been single for 3 months now from a year and a half relationship. At the moment I feel really sad and miss sex and intimacy with...  but generally with someone I love. It's a beautiful feeling. When I think of it or something triggers sexual thoughts I get quite horny and think of my ex (he was absolutely gorgeous and fit) but it makes me really sad. It's automatic for me to have him come to my mind. Because I cannot think of anyone else whom I love and am so attracted too.

Blueberries, not fruit juice, cut type-2 diabetes risk

                         

A study in the British Medical Journal suggests that eating more fruit, particularly blueberries, apples and grapes, is linked to a reduced risk of developing type-2 diabetes.  Blueberries cut the risk by 26% compared with 2% for three servings of any whole fruit - but fruit juice did not appear to have the same effect.

The research looked at the diets of more than 187,000 people in the US. But Diabetes UK said the results of the study should be treated with caution. Researchers from the UK, US and Singapore used data from three large studies of nurses and health professionals in the US to examine the link between fruit consumption and the risk of contracting type-2 diabetes.

Man tells court..................My wife is dirty

                                   

Emmanuel Kayode, of Maraba Area, Ilorin, on Thursday told an Ilorin Area Court that his wife, Omolade Emmanuel was dirty.

The 35-year-old man prayed the court to dissolve his three-year-old marriage to Omolade, for being dirty.

“My wife hardly sweeps our surroundings and bedroom, and that makes our environment irritating and unconducive,” he said.

Suspected Assassins attack the CEO of the Young Shall Grow Motors

                                  

The CEO of The Young Shall Grow Motors, Chief Vincent Obianodo, was attacked by suspected assassins on Tuesday night August 27th on 22 Road in Festac Town, Lagos, killing his driver and police escort. He narrowly escaped death.

The multimillionaire businessman was returning home from work on Tuesday night when an SUV double-crossed his vehicle in a lonely area, and some armed men opened fire on Chief Obianodo's car. His orderly who attempted to fire back was killed, his driver who was trying to escape was also killed while Chief Obianodo was shot in the arm.

IG of Police MD Abubakar set to remarry in September

  

According to a report by Sahara Reporters, Nigeria's Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Abubakar is getting ready to re-marry a year and a half after loosing his wife, Maryam Abubakar, to cancer. (Mrs Abubakar died in January 2012)

IG Abubakar will be engaging in a three-day wedding ritual to 35 year old Safiya (pictured above with him). Their wedding proper will take place on Saturday September 14th.

De Raufs, a volunteer group extolling the virtues of Rauf Aregbesola, the Governor of Osun State has volunteered to sponsor 15year old stowaway boy, Daniel Ohikhena who  hid in the tyre compartment of Arik air flight from Benin to Lagos.

In a statement by the Director General of the group, Comrade Amitolu Shittu, the group stated that it  is ready to give scholarship to Daniel up to university level and help him realise his dream of travelling by air legitimately.

According to him, the little boy’s ambition should be nurtured through qualitative education, and the group is ready to give the boy all the necessary support to make his dream a reality.

I was so sad when i heard reports that Catherine Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas are having a break from their relationship. A spokesperson for the couple told The Daily Mail: “Catherine and Michael are taking some time apart to evaluate and work on their marriage. There will be no further comment.”

The movie star couple have been together for 13 years. Earlier in the week The Mirror reported an insider told them "Michael is going to announce the split soon. Suntai Dissolves Cabinet, Appoints New SSG, Chief Of Staff

Gov. Danbaba Suntai of Taraba has dissolved the state executive council and appointed a new Secretary to the State Government (SSG), and a new Chief of Staff, Government House.

Mr Silvanus Giwa, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Media and Publicity to the governor announced the dissolution and new appointments at a news conference on Wednesday in Jalingo.

He named the outgoing Commissioner for Justice, Mr Timothy Kataps as the news SSG and Alhaji Aminu Jika as the new Chief of Staff, adding that the appointment were with immediate effect.

Giwa, who said that he was speaking on the orders of Suntai, said all Commissioners and Special Advisers had been relived of their appointments.

He passed the governor's message appreciation to the out-going Commissioners and Special Advisers for their services to the state, and wished them well in their future endeavours.

NAN recalls that the State House of Assembly had on Tuesday, announced that the Acting Governor, Alhaji Garba Umar, would continue to act in that capacity until Suntai was able to appear before the lawmakers to confirm that the transmitted letter to the House was genuine. (NAN)
