Several
reports have surfaced alleging that owner of the Los Angeles Clippers, Donald
Sterling is battling cancer.
Adrian Wojnarowski, who writes for Yahoo
Sports, reported
that the league had known that 80-year old Sterling was sick and had been
fighting prostate cancer for quite a while.
According to Wojnarowski’s sources, Sterling had been expected to
kick the proverbial bucket for two years now.
Sterling was banned from the NBA for life and was fined $2.5million,
and is being forced to sell the team, a move Sterling is most likely going to
take to court.
