HIS TIME IS PERFECT

I'm reminded of what an older friend said to a few of us recently. Not exactly in his own words, he said there isn't an absolute finish line for everyone in life. Our tracks are different, our lanes are different and our durations- different. The only thing we have in common is the same judge. For example one person graduates at age 20 and struggles for the next five years to get a job. Another graduates at age 25 and gets a job immediately. One marries a virgin and spends the next decade waiting for the blessings of children.

Another, probably after having series of abortions in the past, becomes a mum almost immediately after marriage. One becomes an MD at 30, another becomes MD at 52. Life is full of twists and turns, ups and downs plus many surprises and offers each one of us different opportunities. It is up to each of us to patiently prepare and wait for that opportunity. We learn on the way- no one knows it all or has it better. The devil always tries to tell us that lie over and over but that's just it- a lie.

There is a reason why we all don't fall at the same time. Its so that when one is down, weak and discouraged, the other, who is strong, can encourage and uplift him. God never promised that the road would be easy but promised never to leave or forsake us. There's no competition in life so let's learn to go easy on ourselves and trust that God is working it all for good (even if it doesn't make sense at the time). The bible assures us that there is a time for everything but most importantly that "it came to pass". Whatever trials, challenge or downtime, this too shall pass and in due course, you'll be up and strong again to lift up those who maybe down around you" . It is well with us all, Amen! Lots of things in life are by choice and not by force. Let's try to have an amazing life

Police Arrest Cow Over Murder

cow
There are some stories you hear and you can’t help but either laugh or pounder on it. Well this is one, the police at Sango Ota, Ogun State, have arrested a cow following the killing of a 24-year old man identified as Azeez Salako at Ilata area of Ota, a suburb of Ogun State.

P.M.NEWS gathered that youths in Ilata Ota were planning to hold a carnival on Saturday 27 April, 2013 and there was an argument between some of the youths which led to a fight and one of the boys identified as Dayo broke a bottle which he used to stab Salako in the neck and he bled to death.

When the police arrived at the scene of the fracas everyone had fled leaving behind the cow bought for slaughter during the carnival and the police arrested the cow and took it to the station where it is currently being detained.

When P.M.NEWS visited Sango Area Command where the incident was reported, both the Area Commander ACP Titi Kayode and the DivisionalPolice Officer (DPO) in charge of Sango Division CSP Dibie were not available for comment. However, a source at the station who confirmed the incident on condition of anonymity said the suspected killer is on the run as no arrest has been made.
“Both the Area Commander and the DPO are not around now. We are still investigating the matter as no arrest has been made. The person who was alleged to have stabbed the deceased is on the run. It is only the cow the youths wanted to use for the carnival that was brought from the scene,” said the source.

Jason Collins ex-girlfriend of 8 years had no idea he was gay

Although Jason Collins has been getting lots of support from other celebrities, one facts is still so surprising which is his relationship with women. It’s honestly so painful for you to date a guy for 8yeahrs and not even have a clue that he is fucking gay. But seriously how will you be in that kind of relationship and not know that your man loves other men? Well, it's very possible. That's exactly what happened to Carolyn, a '6''6' female basketball star whom he dated for eight years and even proposed to her.

In 2009, a few months to their wedding, Jason called it off and ended things with her. Carolyn told TMZ today that she never once suspected that Jason was gay while they were dating and only found out this past weekend when he revealed everything to her before coming out to the world and also told her his homosexuality was the real reason he ended things with her in 2009. Carolyn told TMZ:

"It's very emotional for me as a woman to have invested 8 years in my dream to have a husband, soul mate, and best friend in him. So this is all hard to understand."
"I care about Jason tremendously and only want the best for him. I want Jason to be happy for a lifetime and stay true to who he really is, inside and out."

He should have just told her the truth than making her waste 8 years of her life!!!

EFCC Arrests Ifeanyi Ubah over N43b subsidy scam

EFCC Arrests Ifeanyi Ubah over N43b subsidy scam

I honestly don’t understand why EFCC cannot simply leave Ifeanyi Ubah alone, we all know the truth. According to Vanguard, the  Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Tuesday, arrested the Managing Director of Capital Oil and Gas Industries Limited, Mr. Ifeanyi Ubah, for allegedly defrauding the Federal Government of over N43 billion under the fuel subsidy fund.
He was later released on administrative bail. Ubah, who spoke with Vanguard on telephone, denied the incident, saying that his detractors cooked up the story to tarnish his hard-earned reputation. A security source told Vanguard that Ubah was picked up from his Maitama mansion in Abuja and taken to EFCC’s head office, where he made a written statement before being released on bail later in the evening.

Can this be love; Rihanna buys N170million limited edition Merceds Benz for Chris Brown

I honestly don't know if this is love or if the babe is just being crazy. Right now all I can remember is when Chris Brown beat the crap out of her, cos of a reason we can’t understand. Well what’s my business; Rihanna just bought Chris a N170 Million Mercedes Benz SLR Stirling Moss, one of just 75 in the world.

Rihanna is also reportedly having the interior customized with the initials of Brown, a man who once beat the crap out of her. The gift is a surprise for Brown, because Rihanna wants to show him that she wants to be with him.

She will not be able to give Brown, who once beat the crap out of her, the gift in person, since she has a concert the night of his birthday.

LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE...........................................LOL

31 year old man sentenced to 45 years imprisonment

Ighodalo

On my way to work this morning, I was listening to Rhythm 93.7 where Toke Makinwa and Naya were discussing a very serious issue that had not only to do with morality, our nation, and injustice but also on corruption. The issue was all about the 31 year man who was sentenced to 45years imprisonment for stealing a N50,000 Sony Ericsson phone belonging to Governor Rauf Aregbesola,  by an Osogbo High Court.

Ighodalo stole the phone from the pocket of Aregbesola on November 27, 2010, when the governor was being inaugurated at Government Technical College, Osogbo. Justice Oyejide Falola, who heard the case, found Ighodalo guilty on six counts, which included conspiracy, stealing and fraud.
He was sentenced to 10-year imprisonment for the first three counts and five years for each of the last three which included impersonation, obtaining property by falsehood and collusion.

Falola, who ruled that Ighodalo deserved the jail term, held that the convict used the phone to obtain N500, 000 from the Owa of Ilesa, Oba Adekunle Aromolaran, while he obtained N200, 000 from Mr Shengen Rahman, an associate of the governor.
The jail term, which Falola pronounced will run concurrently, means that Ighodalo will spend the next 10 years behind bars.
Assistant principal state counsel, Mr Biodun Badiora, told the court that the convict had served six-year imprisonment in Ikoyi prison custody in connection with a murder case in 2005.

Counsel to Ighodalo, Mr. Ameachi Ngwu, prayed the court to commit him to community service, stressing that the convict should not be incarcerated but rather be placed where people could see him as a convict.
From a moral point of view do you think he deserves the charge?

NBA Player Jason Collins Comes Out Gay and already has supporters

NBA Player Jason Collins has finally come out to declare he is gay. Just because  in professional North American team sports doesn't mean he's standing alone. Within hours of the NBA vet's historic announcement, famous faces from the White House to Hollywood (and seemingly everywhere in between) began declaring their support for his bold move.
As Chris Culliyer’s anti-gay remark earlier this year reminded us, homophobia still runs rampant in professional sports -- an arena that has been resistant to accepting gay players among its ranks.
Celebrities took to Twitter to sound off and cheer on Collins, and while many of his supporters feel a personal tie with him because they are gay themselves, there are others who simply admire his courage. Their reasons for voicing support varies, but one underlying message remains the same: This is a moment to be celebrated.

According to Guardian, the University of Abuja chapter of Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) started a two-week warning strike on Monday over the failure of government to implement a visitation panel report. Dr Clement Chup, the Chairman, University of Abuja branch of ASUU, who disclose this at a press conference, said Federal Government’s delay in implementing the white paper was not in the interest of the university.
He said the union’s resolution to embark on a two-week warning strike followed government’s failure to listen to the university’s longstanding complaints over governance crisis at institution. The implementation of the report would no doubt commence the needed cleansing and rebuilding that would bring lasting solution to the crisis in the university.
“In view of the deliberate delay of Government to commence implementation of the Dr T. C. Osanakpo Report, eight months after submission, ASUU, University of Abuja chapter, has no option but to embark on a two-week warning strike.
“The Special Visitation Panel has carefully and painfully after eight weeks of work come up with a report that left no one in doubt of the near collapse of the system.
“We understand that a staggering amount of almost N400million of tax payers’ money was expended on the panel and that the panel submitted its report to government on Sept. 21, 2012,” he said.
In his reaction, Dr Mohammed Damagum, the Chairman, ASUU Integrity Group, University of Abuja, condemned the warning strike, saying members of his group should ignore the action. He said the call for the strike was unscrupulous, unpatriotic, maliciously calculated and ill-conceived to destabilise the hard-earned peace in the university.
At the tail end, it’s the students that are suffering. The effect is mostly seen when they have graduated.
