SHOULD A PASTOR TELL YOU NOT TO WEAR UNDERWEAR TO CHURCH?

This is Rev. Njohi of the Lord’s Propeller Redemption Church in Kenya who became popular for passing  a law which banned female members from wearing underwear to church service. The ridiculous law makes one wonder if the well dressed pastor is wearing any underwear himself. Secondly, why will members of his congregation even listen to him besides that where in the Bible is it written that one should come into the house of God without underwear?  I am always get so angry whenever I hear things like this; it makes me so sick to my stomach. I really can’t understand why Africans are not only generally religious but at times they can be quite stupid in their actions and believes.

Most Africans will only believe the man on the pulpit rather than kneeling down and praying earnestly to God. Are we not all praying to the same God? Do you think that the man that claims to be a man of God hears him faster than yourself? Absolute rubbish!!!!

For quite some time, I have know the almighty God in his many names such as Jehovah,  El Shaddai, El Elyon, Shammah, Adonai, Jireh (Yireh) and my personalized name for him is Jehova Over do.

He is a good God and he hears us all. There are times when I get so depressed over life situations and battles and I absolutely feel that he has forgotten me but when I think of his mercies and all the beautiful things he has done for me in the past without me even asking, it reaffirms my faith in him to not only trust him but believe that in his own time he will answer my prayers.

So my fellow African first and foremost you ought to have a personal relationship with God. When you are connected to him and you have the Holy Spirit dwelling inside of you then you are able to discern when a word is false. Some words that are preached by most men are honestly not from the throne of Grace ( God) There are times when they preach based on what their flesh tells them to do or what they want the congregation to do that will please them physically.

However, if you are filled with the Holy Spirit, you will always have that peace and conviction that the word spoken is from God. So next time a pastor tells you to come to church naked or tells you to do something that is not contrary to the will of God, you either leave that church and look for another Bible believing church or challenge the pastor by asking him to show you where it is written in the bible.

Be wise!!!
