Core functions/responsibilities:

1.                   Assist the Chief Migration Health Physician to coordinate and manage all the migration health activities in IOM Abuja. This includes but not limited to logistic preparation for medical screening, handling and safekeeping of individual medical files, collection of bio-data and medical history, physical examination, ensuring identity checks of theapplicants and confidentiality of information throughout the screening process.

12-Year-Old Commits Suicide After She Got Beaten For Stealing Egg In Ebonyi

                                 

A 12-year-old girl, Miss Chisom Okechukwu, has committed suicide, hanging herself at her family compound at Nnoche-Uduke Community in Okpoitumo in the Ikwo Local Government Area of Ebonyi. The News Agency of Nigeria reports that Okechukwu, a primary five pupil at Nnoche-Uduke Primary School, was said to have left home on Saturday and was not seen until Sunday morning, hanging on a tree at the back of her compound.

Her dangling body was discovered by her younger sister, Ndidi, who was going to the toilet dug at the back of the compound. An eye-wtness, who spoke on condition of anonymity, disclosed that Ndidi raised an alarm which attracted their parents and other members of the community who came and brought her down. “The whole scenario brought tension and confusion in the community as people were seen in clusters discussing the death.
