HTC have annouced a new golden color version of the popular One flagship, adding to the existing black, silver, red, and blue colour models. The golden HTC One was first leaked back in September on a Chinese website. Now it’s been madeofficial, packing what HTC describes as “a brushed body with black accents that oozes luxury and style”.

Besides the new color, the golden HTC One is identical to the original version of the device: you get the Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB of RAM, a 4 UltraPixel camera, stereo BoomSound speakers, and HTC’s Sense overlay, with a bevy of additions including BlinkFeed and HTC Zoe. HTC did not specify the version of the software running on the device, but we assume it’s Android 4.3 and Sense 5.5.
The golden HTC One will be available across Europe in time for Christmas. No word about its availability in Nigeria or Africa, we”ll keep you posted when we get an official word from HTC. The champagne gold HTC One released today is made of colored aluminum, just like the other models in the range, and, in our opinion, looks much classier.
