L'Wren Scott has
left her entire estate, worth $9 million, to her boyfriend of 13 years, Mick Jagger, multiple outlets
reported Wednesday, March 26. The late designer's fortune, which included her
$8 million condo and $1 million worth of other valuables, was left solely to
the Rolling Stones frontman, 70, the New York Post claimed.
"I give all my jewelry, clothing, household furniture and
furnishings, personal automobiles and other tangible articles of a personal
nature … to Michael Philip Jagger," the former model's will read,
according to court papers reviewed and first shared by the Post on Wednesday.
"Except if
otherwise provided in this will, I have intentionally omitted to provide herein
for any of my heirs living at the date of my death," she wrote.
The paper reported that
Scott had signed the documents in May 2013 in Beverly Hills. Scott's older
brother Randall Bambrough spoke to the NY Daily News after her will was filed in Manhattan
court Wednesday, and said that her ashes would be split between family members
and Jagger. "She was cremated and I have some of her ashes,"
58-year-old Bambrough shared, adding that Jagger had the rest. Scott's brother
was appointed to an executive position of her fashion company last November.
Scott had been estranged from her sister Jan Shane, 53, for six years.
Scott was found dead at 49 in her NYC apartment on Monday, March 17.
Her death was ruled a suicide.
The designer's funeral was held in L.A. on Tuesday, March 25, with
family and close friends in attendance. Jagger, along with members of The
Rolling Stones, and Jagger's daughters and grandchildren partook in the ceremony.
Jagger addressed his
longtime love's death in a Facebook message posted March 18, the day after she was
found dead. "I am still struggling to understand how my lover and best
friend could end her life in this tragic way," he wrote. "We spent
many wonderful years together and had made a great life for ourselves."
