Center for Psychological Medicine - Our “Center for Psychological Medicine” based within the Abuja metropolis is currently in need of a Psychiatric Nurse resident in the F.C.T for immediate employment. Center for Psychological Medicine is recruiting to fill the vacant job positions of:

Job Title: Psychiatric Nurse
Location: Abuja
Responsibilities:

·                     Clinical duties which include assessing mental health needs, developing care plans for patients and helping clients improve their coping abilities.
·                     Monitoring treatment regimens by ensuring the correct administration of medication, including injections, and monitoring the results of treatment.


·                     Complete Nursing Assessments for all new clients: The nursing assessment needs to be done within 24-48 hours of admission.
·                     Must be willing to work on Shift basis and show flexibility when required.
Qualifications and Requirements:
·                     Applicants be a Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) or have a Bsc Nursing & be licensed to practice in Nigeria.
·                     Ability to form and sustain effective relationships with clients, and community health and social service providers
·                     Ability to be flexible, manage time, resources, and client caseload
·                     Demonstrate respect and appreciation for diversity (culturally relevant, anti-bias, and multicultural)
·                     Demonstrate a willingness/ability to work with the interdisciplinary team to provide optimum care.
Job Title: Clinical Psychologist
Type: Part time and Full Time Slots are available
Location: Abuja
Core Job Functions


·                     Counsel individuals and groups regarding problems such as stress, substance abuse, and family situations, in order to modify behaviour and/or to improve personal, social, and vocational adjustment.
·                     Offering therapy and treatments for difficulties relating to mental health problems such as anxiety, depression, and addiction, social and interpersonal problems.
·                     Identify psychological, emotional, or behavioural issues, and diagnose disorders, using information obtained from interviews, tests, records, and reference materials.
·                     Working as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside doctors, nurses, social workers, education professionals, health visitors, psychiatrists and occupational therapists;
·                     Develop and implement individual treatment plans, specifying type, frequency, Intensity, and duration of therapy.
·                     Prepare and type a psychological formulation for every patient in therapy
·                     Evaluate the effectiveness of counselling or treatments, and the accuracy and completeness of diagnoses, and then modify plans and diagnoses as necessary.
·                     Interact with clients to assist them in gaining insight, defining goals, and planning action to achieve effective personal, social, educational, and vocational development and adjustment.
·                     Obtain and study medical, psychological, social, and family histories, by interviewing individuals, couples, or families, and by reviewing records.
·                     Select, administer, score, and interpret psychological tests in order to obtain information on individuals' intelligence, achievements, interests, and personalities.
·                     Utilize a variety of treatment methods such as psychotherapy, hypnosis, behaviour modification, stress reduction therapy, psychodrama, and play therapy.
Required Qualification and Experience
·                     Minimum of 4 years experience in a similar capacity
General Requirements

·                     A minimum of a Master's degree in Clinical psychology
·                     Knowledge of Psychological Formulations using different psychological models
·                     Knowledge of Psychological Assessment using standardized tests/scales
·                     Knowledge and application of psychological principles/models
·                     Psychological treatments/interventions.
Remuneration
·                     Excellent remuneration packages exist for all roles, and will be commensurate with experience.
 Job Title: Graduate Clinical Psychologist
Type: Part time and Full Time Slots are available
Location: Abuja

Job Title: Drivers
Type: Part time and full times slots available
Location: Abuja
Requirements

·                     Must have over 3 years experience driving in a commercial capacity
·                     Have a valid drivers license
·                     Humble and God fearing
·                     Must have a good knowledge of the Abuja Environs
·                     Must be able to read and write (English)
Remuneration
Salary - dependent on experience

 Job Title: Cooks
Location: 
Abuja
Requirements

·                     Must have over 3 years experience cooking in a commercial capacity
·                     Must be able to cook both local and intercontinental dishes
·                     Must be able to read and write (English)
·                     Must be flexible to work on a shift basis
·                     Previous experience within a quality kitchen environment

Salary - Dependent on experience
