A 28-year-old medical school student
who is auctioning off her virginity on the internet for money has received bids
as high as $550,000 ever since she launched it online on the 31st of March, 2014. The student who uses the alias Elizabeth
Raine also had to reveal her face few days after the launch in an effort to
attract more hefty offers.
She says while she's primarily doing
this for the money, she is also attracted by the adventure, eroticism, scandal
and the chance to challenge norms about virginity. She also says she
wouldn’t be ruling out chances of falling in love with her suitor.
Raine says she lost her mom when she
was 10 and spent most of her childhood in Saudi Arabia because of her dad's job
in the oil industry.
According to her, she’s still a virgin
because; she had a busy life and was very picky with guys. Bidding ends May 7
but she says to be safe, the winner must have no STIs and be willing to wear a
condom.
