Elizabeth Foundation (EF), Heart to God and Hand to man is a non-governmental organization established to alleviate the plight of Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) and Widows. Since the inception of
this foundation, the foundation has provided enormous support to OVC and Widows in the area of education,health campaign and interventions, empowerment, Food Security & Livelihood and advocating for their sociological support and rights to the government, corporate bodies and individuals.
EF is looking for experienced professional with a track record in humanitarian and development works to serve as .. 


 Senior Programs Coordinator

·S/he will be responsible for the overall coordination of the foundation activities to meet board of trustees' expectations and donors' specification and deliverables. 

S/he will be responsible for writing proposals to donors, determine the scope of project and provide feedback reports to donors.

Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Humanities, Management and Health Related discipline. 5-10 years of related experience in Non-Governmental Organizations locally and/or internationally. 

Experienced in managing all donors' fund is highly desirable.

ROLE PURPOSE:


Responsible for the overall coordination of the foundation activities to meet board of trustee expectations and donors' specification and deliverables,
Responsible to donors' proposal writing, reports and scope of the project,

Advocate to relevant authorities to promote rights, privileges' and sociological acceptability of the
beneficiaries
Any other role as delegated

Reports to: Board of Trustees'

Staff directly reporting to this post: All Staff

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Objective I: Responsible for the overall coordination of the foundation activities to meet board of
trustees' expectations and donors' specification and deliverables
Objective 2: Responsible for donors' proposal writing, delivery report and scope of project

Objective 3: Advocate to relevant authorities to promote rights, privileges and sociological
acceptability of the beneficiaries

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 
Administrative & General Skills

·      Bachelor's Degree in Humanities, Management and Health Related discipline
·      A related NGO past experience is important either indigenous or international
·      Computer literate on Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
·      Financial literacy
·      Ability to work in partnership in government and internationally
·      Good interpersonal skills
·      Ability to work within a team setting
·      Independence, adaptability and flexibility
·      Excellent communication skills
·      Bilingual indigenous/international language, an added advantage
Working Conditions
·      Ability and willingness to travel to projects andstay in basic conditions when necessary
·      Ability to maximize what is available to meet objectives of the foundation
