You only see this kind of thing in the movies but this is actually so real. The man whom you are currently viewing his picture has had a new nose grown on his forehead after his original nose was severely damaged in a car accident. The man from the Fujian province in China, known only as Xiaolian was involved in a traffic accident last year, and when he failed to get treatment for his nose injury it became infected and irreparably damaged.

The 22-year-old was left with only one choice by surgeons: to have a new nose grown on his forehead. The nose was made using skin tissue expander and cartilage from the man’s ribs before being cut into the shape of a nose. Surgeons plan to transplant the new nose from his head, into the place of the old nose soon.
