Production Manager



Requirements
·                     The qualified person should be a graduate ofBiochemistry/Production Engineering, Chemistry/Microbiology or any other related degree with relevant professional certification.
·                     A higher degree in production management and or an MBA will be an added advantage.
·                     At least 15 Years working experience in a managerial function in a Brewery/Distilleries with good knowledge of production distillation and good human management skills.
KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
·                         Strong initiative skills, working both independently and as part of a team.
·                         Strong understanding of GMP in wines and spirits.
·                         Passion for excellence and integrity
·                         Tenacity and resilience
·                         Excellent oral and written communication skills
·                         Ability to coordinate and simultaneously align various production units.
·                         Excellent leadership and influencing skills
Assistant manager, research and development
·                      
Key Responsibilities:
·                     The appointee will amongst other things be responsible for:
·                     Involve in new product development & line process improvement
·                     Involve in new product development & line process improvement
·                     Provide the R & D manager with important but realizable research information, idea generation and knowledge as regards currentopportunities in new technological developments.
·                     Carrying out periodic work study on line processes by identifying the bottle neck process points and how to avert them; by providing correct interpretation of all data generated during the study.
·                     Ensuring that proper stability study & shelf life determination are carried out regularly especially for newly developed products under research observation periods and preparation of regular reports as to all observations.
·                     Any other assigned job.    
REQUIREMENTS:The Suitable candidate must possess:
·                     B/Sc/HND Industrial Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Tech, Microbiology or Chemistry.
·                     Minimum of 10yrs experience with 8 yrs in Research & Development in the food & beverages industry and not more the 40 years.
·                     Analytical skills, ability to interpret scientific data correctly and result oriented
·                     Computer literate and good communication skills very necessary
