Job Title: Engineer Quality Of Service

Location:
 Abuja, NG

Job Summary 

Implement quality of service management plans (including resources, systems, timescales and financials) within the framework of Etisalat Nigeria's annual business plan and long-term strategic objectives
Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or HND in Electrical/ Electronic/ Communications/ Computer Engineering or any other relevant discipline
  • Relevant postgraduate and/or professional qualifications/ certifications will be an added advantage

Experience, Skills & Competencies
  • Between one (1) and two (2) years' directly-relevant post-NYSC work experience in mobile telecommunications systems, preferably in quality, performance and/ or planning
  • Ideal candidate must also be able to demonstrate:
  • Strong technical, analytical and documentation skills
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Good knowledge of 2G and 3G technologies
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills

Principal Functions
  • Maintain systems to establish standards relating to activities and products
  • Maintain systems to measure performance against established standards
  • Assist to monitor performance (in relevant areas) according to agreed standards and take necessary action to communicate/ advise according to performance levels
  • Assist in monitoring, communicating and applying standards created/ maintained by external bodies and integrating such standards within internal quality management systems
  • Assist in ensuring implementation of the necessary communication strategy aimed at increasing awareness and improvement in resolution of quality issues across all departments
  • Assist in reporting as necessary on changes in standards and on performance against standards
  • Follow up with customers' complaints with the relevant departments until issues are resolved and customers satisfied
