Cybercriminals create advanced computer virus which can steal money from any bank account in any country


A team of Russian cybercriminals have created a computer virus so sophisticated it can steal the money from any bank account in any country.Called the Neverquest Trojan, it lies hidden on malicious websites or infected computers and can steal the usernames and passwords for people’s online banking accounts.

Once it has access to these accounts it can empty them completely and is so advanced, security experts are warning that traditional antivirus software isn't enough to keep users protected. This is because the Trojan has been designed to contain ‘just about every possible trick’ known to hackers to avoid being caught and disabled

HTC One Mini Banned In The UK After Nokia Wins Patent Case
Nokia has won a patent infringing battle against HTC, leading to the ban of sales of the HTC One Mini in the UK. The UK High Court found in October that HTC had infringed Nokia’s European patent number 0998024, described as a ‘modular structure for a transmitter and a mobile station’. As a result, Judge Richard Arnold ruled today that HTC can no longer sell its One Mini smartphone in the UK.

A trader,  Chijioke Nwagu has been arrested by the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) for allegedly manufacturing and selling counterfeit drugs. From reports, NAFDAC said the suspect carried out the manufacturing of the drugs in the toilet of his two-bedroom flat where he mixes chemical in a 200-litre drum at his residence located at  Elemijaye Street, Ajamgbadi area of Lagos State.
Briefing journalists on Tuesday, the Director-General of the agency,  Paul Orhii said the suspect is specialized in counterfeiting cough syrup.

Police Uncover Another Baby Factory In Imo! Rescues 16 Pregnant Teenage Girls

                
 The Police Command again has uncovered another baby-making factory in Egbu, near Owerri the State capital, arresting the proprietor, one Dr. James Ezuma who runs a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), and a clinic. 16 girls were rescued in the process. The girls were kept in two rooms in the building that houses his NGO, with no windows while repulsive odour oozed out from their rooms

Boko Haram attacks Air Force Base & International Airport in Borno

                                 
According to news reports, the Composite Group Air Force Base in Maiduguri, the Maiduguri  International Airport and other places in Borno State were attacked in the early hours of this morning by gunmen believed to be members of Boko Haram. The gunmen, said to be over 300, attacked with heavy artillery including Rocket Propelled Grenade Launchers.
