Fani-Kayode reacted to the comments made by prominent Ijaw Leader, Chief Edwin
Clark. Clark, a former Minister of Information himself
yesterday stated that since Obafemi Awolowo and Adekunle Ajasin died, the
Yoruba have had no leaders, adding that former Lagos State Governor Bola Tinubu
was wasting his time, moving about, calling himself the Yoruba leader, saying
“money cannot buy leadership.”
FFK angrily reacted on his Facebook page,
stating that the Ijaw leader is only being ignorant.

Chief E.K. Clark. What on earth does this ancient and quarrelsome fisherman
know about the yoruba people?
Femi Fani-Kayode in recent times is
popularly known to be a critic of the Jonathan administration, and is never shy
making public comments, especially those that concerns issues about the
Yoruba's.
