Pastor Inflicts Machette Wounds On Wife Over Failure To Attend Church Programme!

The Ogun State Police Command have nabbed a pastor with a first generation pentecostal church, Daniel Samuel, for allegedly attacking his wife, Patience Samuel, with machete and inflicting deep cuts at the back of her neck. The pastor allegedly attacked his wife over her alleged persistent failure to attend prayer meetings and other church programmes.David, 45, who became the pastor of the Ode Remo branch of the church about a year ago, had travelled to Owode-Egba in Obafemi Owode Local Government Area, where his wife works and allegedly hit her with the machete that left her injured. Confirming the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Muyiwa Adejobi, said the pastor would soon be charged to court. Adejobi further explained that the pastor had confessed to the crime after an interrogation, adding that he would be charged for false information and wounding. “The Pastor is with us, he initially lied to the Police that the wife was attacked by some men but later confessed after interrogation. As such he will soon be charged to court for false information and wounding,” the PPRO said. 

So sad that even a Pastor did not only beating his wife but used a machete to inflict such deep wounds on her. May he face the full wrath of the law!
