1) Job: Senior Accountant

Job description

Purpose: Maintain accurate accounting records and manage the accounting and control function
Basic Function & Scope of Job:
·   Develop and maintain accurate accounting records - Expenditures, receipts, fixed assets, accounts payable and receivable.
·   Perform revenue recognition and cost accounting.
·   Close monthly books of accounts and prepare financial statements inline with IFRS while ensuring superior data quality and timely completion.
·   Manage tax related issues, consult with tax consultants and submit required information to Tax authorities.
·   Perform monthly reconciliations – Supplier, Customers, Bank, Sub-Ledgers, Inventory, etc.
·   Monitor and control LCs and LGs.
·   Oversee regular inventory cycle counts.
·   Assist in documenting operational and accounting policies, procedures and processes.
·   Perform meaning analysis (e.g. Ageing, Key Performance Indicators and Cash flow).
·   Coordinate with external auditors.
·   Work closely with IT Manager to ensure successful implementation of ERP.
Reporting to: Finance Manager
Principal Contacts: General Manager, Line Managers, External Auditors.

Desired Skills and Experience

Technical:
·   Sound knowledge of accounting concepts (including IFRS), finance processes & internal controls.
·   Previous experience of working with ERP systems.
·   Previous hands on experience on taxation.
·   Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office.
Analytical: Good creative thinking and problem solving skills.

Communication: Good oral and written English language skills (Basic knowledge of Arabic an advantage). Ability to interact with management.

Teamwork: Good team player and supportive of peers.

Team Development: Ability to supervise a team of accountants and clerical staff (2-5 staff).

Leadership:  Good influencing skills.

Quality & Execution: Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Education:  Minimum Bachelor Degrees in Commerce. Preferably professionally qualified - CA/CPA/ICMA or equivalent.

Years of Experience:  2-4 years post qualification experience. Preferably in the Manufacturing Industry.


2) JOB: 

ERP Specialist


Job description

Position Title: ERP Implementation Specialist
Purpose: Oversee the implementation and operation of ERP Solution
Functional Area: IT
Basic Function & Scope of Job
·   Oversee the review, evaluation and recommendation of new ERP.
·   Plan coordinate and work with the respective department heads to develop process maps, key results areas and key performance indicators.
·   Plan and lead the implementation of the new ERP (project manager) while working closely with the implementation partners.
·   Test and ensure ERP implementation meets functional requirements,systems compliance, and fulfils end-user requirements.
·   Develop and communicate training for end users.
·   Prepare complete technical documentation for ERP.
·   Maintain users’ access to system according to roles and obtain required approvals; Review and maintain Authorization Matrix.
·   Perform daily monitoring and troubleshooting of the ERP system; ensure that the effectiveness and efficiency of system is optimized.
·   Maintain, support, and upgrade the systems and applications.
·   Prepare and deliver activity and progress reports for presentation to the management team.
·   Propose new technologies that can enable business expansion or growth.
·   Propose ways to use system to increase sales/save cost.

Reporting to: Managing Director
Principal Contacts: System Users, CFO, Department Heads.

Desired Skills and Experience

Competencies Technical:
·   Expert knowledge and previous hands on experience with ERP systems.
·   Must have strong knowledge of system testing best practices andmethodologies.
·   Previous experience on taxation.
Analytical: Excellent analytical ability, good creative thinking and problem solving skills.

Communication:
·   Good oral and written English language skills (Basic knowledge of Arabic an advantage).
·   Excellent negotiation skills and ability to push back to enforce standard processes and best practices.
Teamwork:Good team player and ability to work effectively with peers.
Leadership:Good leadership qualities and highly developed interpersonal skills.
Quality & Execution: Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

Education:
·   Minimum Bachelor Degrees in Computer Science or related technical field.
·   Preferably professionally qualified - PMP, Lean Six Sigma etc.

Years of Experience: Minimum of 4 years experience in ERP Project or Program Management.
