Timbaland's wife files for divorce to end five-year marriage

Music producer Timbaland's wife Monique Mosley has filed for divorce to end their five-year marriage and has asked for alimony and child support. The 41-year-old musician and Monique have a five-year-old daughter Reign together.
Monique asked for child support for Reign and also for her 10-year-old son from a previous relationship.


Monique said in court documents that the rapper has 'publicy and privately proclaimed this child as his own,' according to an article on Wednesday in TMZ.
Monique also has asked for alimony, life insurance, private school, vacations, summer camp and other expenses.



She also is seeking 'rehabilitative alimony' and permanent alimony in addition to funds while divorce proceedings continue. Monique said in court documents that she had to borrow money from a friend to pay for her lawyer.
Timbaland has been a fixture on the music scene since the mid-1990s and has worked with many of the music industry's biggest stars, including Justin Timberlake, Nelly Furtado, Jay-Z, Bjork, 50-Cent, Ginuwine and the late Aaliyah.

Timbaland has a net worth estimated at $80million, according to the website Celebrity Networth.
The music producer in March celebrated his 41st birthday in New York City with a bash that attracted Timberlake, his wife Jessica Biel and Jay-Z.
Chelsea Clinton and Jamie Foxx also were spotted at the party.
