GB JOBS: Oil and Gas Industries (SENIOR ACCOUNTANT based in Port Harcourt, Rivers State)

VACANCY
We provide safe, reliable well testing and blow out flow control services to the Oil and Gas Industries. We require a hard working young and intelligent SENIOR ACCOUNTANT based in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria.
Specific Responsibilities:
             Prepare Profit and Loss Analysis
             Maintain Fixed Assets Register and compute monthly depreciation
             Conduct Fixed Assets & Inventory Verification on quarterly basis
             Reconcile Intercompany accounts



             Prepare Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliation
             File monthly Vat returns, WTH Payment and PAYE returns
             Raise GRN (Goods received Notes) for all goods supply by vendors
             Monitor inflow and outflow from the store
             Assist in shipping matters
             Supervise monthly cash counting
             Other responsibilities delegated by the Finance Manager
Minimum Qualification:
             A chartered accountant with HND or B.Sc. in Accounting or other related fields
             Minimum of 3-5 years cognate experience as Accountant in a reputable professional practice firm.
Additional Qualification:
             Conversant with the Nigerian Tax laws, procedures and administration
             Excellent command of English language and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
             Age must not be more than 35 years old.
