Save the Children is looking for experienced development professionais to work within the Nigeria Country Programme.
These roles will be critical for the delivery of results for children expected by this programme.

1. Nutrition Program Officer

Role
The Nutrition programme officer will provide technical support on voice and community mobilization to all State programme
teams, develop a community mobilisation strategy in collaboration with the team and ensure implementation, support the
programme team in the implementation of CMAM, IYCF, MNCH and advocacy; data analysis and
 report writing, ensure clear
links and mutual reinforcement between programmatic approaches, write regular progress reports, including annual impact
monitoring reports, contribute to the development of reports for meetings, workshop, training and programme implementation,
Participate in meetings, training and other assessment/events as required bythe Nutrition
 Adviser and National Programme
Manager.

Qualifications
In order to be successful within this role, the incumbent must have at least a Bachelor degree in
 Health, Nutrition, or related field, Sound strategic thinking and planning skills, including ability to think creatively and innovate and to set priorities, manageable work plans and evaluate progress, ability to work in partnership with government and other organizations'
staff, Commitment to SCI mission, values and approach (includes child protection, equal opportunities and heaHh and safety),
experience in Nu1rition and in community based programmes.

2. Voice & Community Mobilization Officer

Role
The Voice and Community mobilization officer will support the State team to ensure commitment and involvement of local
authorities and community members in the programme; and support community mobilization to ensure participation.
sustainability of
 the nutrition programme as well as that the voices of communily members, including women and children are
heard. Identify policy and practice change, on the basis of Save the Children's experience, that would promote and protect the rights of children. support in formulating key advocacy messages and targets from lessons learned, assessments. research and evidence gained through project implementation on
 Health and Nutrition, develop good knowledge of local and national government structures, parliamentary and political processes and key decision making structures and how to influence them, Initiate and support lobbying, communications and other activities to inform and persuade policy makers, including donors and politicians, of the value of Save the Children's policy recommendations.

Qualifications
The incumbent should possess a national diploma (ND/OND) in
 Health,Nutrition, Communications or
related
 social science field, substantial experience in advocacy and poliCy development / research in the development context. good understanding of the possibilities and tactics for influencing decision and policy makers, politicians, donors, and other key actors, ability to build and maintain relationships with partner agencies and key contacts in the government, NGO. civil society (coalitions) and media sectors, experience in training others in advocacy techniques and influencing tactics, prior work experiencein advocacy in Nigeria.

3. Local Government AreaTechnician Advisor

Role
The Local Government Advisor will strengthen the capacity of the Local GovemmentArea (LGA)
 nutrition focal person or
team (as designated by the LGA) in management, delivery, and advocacy of cost-effecfive malnutrition prevention and treatment interventions (interventions include -Infant & Young Child Feeding, Community Management of Acute Malnutrition, Maternal & Child
 Health Weeks). Strengthen capacitiesolLGApersonnel/nutrition team on planning, financing and managemental nutrition interventions, support assessment preparation and planning for implementation of nutrition interventions with LGA Team.

Qualifications
At least a Bachelor degree in programme management,
 health and nutrition, or related social science,
Previous experience with local and international NGOs, Strong programme management background, including HR
management, Significant experience in planning, managing and delivering a programme, including costing, managing and
monitoring,budgets,Efleclive resource planning, including commodities and technical expertise is essential.

4. Monitoring & Evaluation Coordinator

Role
To assume a lead technical role in developing, implementing and maintaining effective and appropriate Monitoring and Evaluation systems for all project activities In coordination with the project management and state teams. and in line with BMGF
reporting requirements. and with SC guidelines and best practices.

Qualifications
Advanced training in quantitative methodologies. including database management. 5 years of direct experience of monitoring and evaluation related to one or more of these fields:
 health, HIV, nutrition and/or economics, strong analytic skills and an understanding of a range of methods for monitoring, evaluation and assessment to promote evidence-based leaming. Demonstrated ability to design, commission. and manage assessment methodologies and evaluation. ability to build support from staff across teams and across members, and to build the capacity of others, Sound strategic thinking and planning skills, including ability to think creatively and innovate and to set priorities, manageable work plans and evaluate progress.

5. Office Manager

Role
Ensure the Country Office (CO) premises are well equipped, fully fun~tioning and fit for purpose to enable all staff to operate
with maximum effiCiency, Oversee the maintenance of Country office premises/residences. fumiture, fittings and all equipment in a fully functioning state, Pro-actively identify potential problems affecting staff and the running of the office, proposing solutions and working to put them in place, Ensure CO compliance wilh Save the Children Essential Standards, Global Policies and Guidelines, develop, keep updated and ensure compliance with the COAdminislration Policies and Procedures Manual, ensure the effective flow of information between the CO headquarters, the State Offices, the head office and members, Oversee the overall maintenance of the residence/office premises, facilities assets and equipment (physical work environment) and ensure that these are secure and efficiently utilized, Review and annually update all contracts and leases before forwarding them to the Country Director for signature, Oversee the management of the process for all travel, accommodation visa for travels arrangements for CO staff. consultants and other Save the Children staff. Ensure that travel is on schedule and cost effective and that visits to Country Programmes occurwith a minimum of disruption and
 downtime.

QualificationsUniversity degree in Business Administration or equivalent in relevant field, a minimum of 5 years of
experience in a
 senior administration role in a corporate or an NGO environment, proven ability to provide high level support to management teams, ability to plan and organise a substantial workload that includes complex, diverse tasks and responsibilities, commitment to Save the Children's mission and values, willing and able to travel around the States as needed, experience in working in a diverse intemational team, experience working in Emergencies.

6. Logistic Manager

Role
The Logistic manager will assist in building the capacity of logistics and procurement staff in accordance with Save the
Children policies and procedures, create a quick visual reference for 10gisUcs and procurement procedures, improve
accountability through the implementation of weekly and monthly reporting, provide logistics and procurement support and
advice, monitor overall logistics and procurement performance and recommend and implement change as necessary,
development of vendor lists, finalising of procurement plans and requests for current grants, daily and weekly car movement
tracking sheets and accompanying procedures for vehicle requests, Input of vehicle maintenance records into maintena_nce
database including future service dates, daily, weekly. and monthly checklists for vehicles, disposal of assets as required in
accordance with Save the Children and donor guidelines, working communication systems (CODAN, VHF, Thuraya, intemet)
including request for repairs, Support strengthening capacity of humanitarian I EPP component of NCO, any other duties
requested by line Manager.

Qualifications
A minimum of 6 years senior-level experience in procurement capacity building in several of the following areas: human resource management (including human capacity development and leadership development); financial and other management systems; strategic planning and resource allocation; monitoring and evaluation; and service delivery, demonstrated competence in assessing priorities and in managing a variety of activities in a time-sensitive environment, and in meeting deadlines with attention to detail and quality, Proven programmatic, technical, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with professional colleagues in a broad range of local public institutions and NGOs, demonstrated computer skills in MS Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
