X-Factor’s Simon Cowell is set to be a father after reports have leaked that he’s fathering a child with New York socialite Simon Cowell. MailOnline confims the news and the 36-year-old is said to be ‘around 10 weeks along’ in the pregnancy, according to multiple sources quoted by Us Weekly magazine.

However, the situation is made more complicated by the fact while Lauren’s relationship with Cowell’s real estate friend Andrew Silverman is over, she is still technically married. The source told Usmagazine.com: ‘Lauren and Andrew have been unhappy in their marriage for some time, and their divorce has been in the works for a while.

‘As their marriage deteriorated, she and Simon became close.’

According to the tabloid, Lauren is now said to be planning to leave Andrew in order to be with Cowell. The X Factor USA judge and Lauren have frequently been seen on holiday together, with the pretty brunette a regular fixture during the mogul’s annual holidays in St Barts.
