1. Sales Engineer (m/f)

Lagos, Nigeria

Your responsibilities

We are looking for a Sales
Engineer for the PERI subsidiary in Nigeria. Your responsibilities are:
§  Analysis of the geographical sector the position covers in terms of clients, projects and products

§  Acquisition of new clients
§  Managing the projects under your control, covering all aspects of the order from the client’s request until the complete return of the material and payments of the invoices
§  Managing all financial, technical, legal, commercial and logistical problems with the clients
§  Writing and presenting offers towards clients
§  Reporting the progress of the projects, the relations with the clients and also the development of follow-up projects to the Management
§  External work, close to the customer

Your profile

§  Technical knowledge of PERI products and their use
§  Knowledge about rules and regulations concerning PERI products
§  Construction experience (general contractor, formwork, etc.)
§  Good negotiation skills
§  Fluent English is mandatory
§  Entrepreneurial spirit, being profit and result orientated



2. Stockyard Manager

Lagos, Nigeria

Your responsibilities
We are looking for a Stockyard Manager for the PERI subsidiary in Nigeria. Your responsibilities are:
§  Supervision/direction of all yard personnel
§  Ensure cost efficient operations at yard, correct order fulfillment and inventory accuracy.
§  Ensure good housekeeping/orderly premise and adhering to local regulations/ordnances.
§  Track and provide yard personnel working hours.
§  Ensure customer orders, returns and product maintenance meet company standards.
§  Appointing, disciplining, evaluating and maintaining policies and guidelines for all yard personnel.
§  Allocate, distribute and ensure scheduled maintenance of warehouse tools and machinery.

Your profile
§  Several years of experience in stockyard management and material management. Relevant Diploma is an advantage.
§  Experiences in management of teams with staff 10+
§  Skilled in cost optimization and management
§  Systematic approach and good comprehension of business processes
§  Good interpersonal and negotiation skills
§  Clear and concise communication to internal and external stakeholders
§  Fluent English is mandatory
§  Good knowledge of MS Office applications

3. Design/Project Engineer

Lagos, Nigeria

Your responsibilities

We are looking for a Design/Project Engineer for the PERI subsidiary in Nigeria.
§  The Design/Project Engineer‘s most important task is to develop a cost effective formwork, shoring or scaffolding solution for various concrete construction projects. These solutions are based on PERI‘s 30 standard product systems that range from straight-wall formwork for retaining walls, up to sophisticated self-climbing systems used in the construction of the highest buildings in the world.
§  Approximately 75% of your work is AutoCAD-based with the remainder of your time spent providing on-site service support and assisting sales engineers with client presentations.
§  The tasks will be performed mostly in the office.

Your profile

§  PERI is looking for civil or mechanical engineering graduates, who are interested in a challenging position.
§  In addition to education qualifications, the ideal applicant would be a flexible, responsible and self-motivated individual with good communication skills and a strong command of the English language.
§  Extensive training is provided, including seminars in Germany.

4. Finance & Accounting Manager (m/f)

Lagos, Nigeria

Your responsibilities

We are looking for a Finance & Accounting Manager for the PERI subsidiary in Lagos, Nigeria.
§  Monthly Reporting; Quarterly Reporting and Year-End Closing & Reporting to the Headquarter and Group Management in Germany
§  Accurate bookkeeping in accordance with the Nigerian legislation as well as group accounting guidelines
§  Receivables Management (incl. Credit Policy)
§  Overall process improvement; optimize efficiency of business operations (offer to cash)
§  Support MD in developing local strategy in-line with PERI’s defined global strategy
§  Budgeting, Forecasting, Yearly Audit and related work
§  Fulfillment of yearly management objectives (MBO)
§  Implementation and monitoring of the financial and accounting system
§  Overall financial planning and accounting practices
§  Accounts, general ledger, fixed assets and inventories, salaries and expenditures
§  Commercial support of organization (profitability / efficiency evaluation )
§  Communication/collaboration with third parties, customers, auditors, banks as well as with internal parties (PERI Controller, Executive Board, Managing Director, Sales Manager, Logistics Manager)
§  Order processing procedure (filing, correctness of invoices, etc.)
§  Local tax practices and requirements, representing the company to the tax authorities
§  Lead bookkeeping & finance admin staff

Your profile

§  University degree in Finance, Accounting or related disciplines and extensive professional training
§  2 - 5 years of relevant professional experience, thereof 2 years at a managerial level, preferably in an international business
§  Fluency in English or German
§  Knowledge of SAP R/3 (desirable)
§  Professional knowledge in MS Office applications
§  Experience in cost accounting
§  Goal orientated
§  Good negotiation skills
§  Strong analytic skills, organizational skills and intellectual abilities
§  Personal drive and initiate skills

5. Managing Director (m/f) 

Lagos, Nigeria

Your responsibilities

§  Profit and loss responsibility for the subsidiary
§  Responsibility for Strategy & Planning Process of the subsidiary
§  Leading of the subsidiary and all its staff
§  Responsibility for all sales-generating activities at PERI Nigeria
§  Maintenance and development of the relationship with key clients / key accounts
§  Recruitment of suitable staff, manage and develop the company
§  Ensuring efficiency of all operational processes and optimization of technical solutions for our clients
§  Responsibility of the processing of customer orders and projects

Your profile

§  Professional training / completion of studies in construction engineering,industrial engineering or mechanical engineering
§  Strong experience in sales
§  Profound experience in managing a team
§  The ability to develop entrepreneurial vision and to implement Implements effective sales strategy in this with
§  Strong work ethic, open and reliable
