Job Description
SCOPE
OF DUTIES
The job holder leads the functions of the aspired
world-class Human Capital Management Department. S/he will provide leadership
and guidance to staff in the Department towards fulfilling the mandates of the
Department as follows:
1.
Developing strategies for attracting
and retaining a highly effective workforce in line with Corporate Vision,
Mission and Business Aims.
2.
Formulating/Reviewing standards,
policies and guidelines for Human Capital Management including the production
of standard templates in alignment with professional and best practices.
3.
Developing annual and periodic Human
Resource budgets in line with organizational objectives.
4.
Human Capital Management within the
Company to include:
·
Defining/Reviewing and Managing
Competencies;
·
Attracting, Selecting and Managing
On-boarding of Employees, Loan and other Staff where suitable;
·
Managing Employees' Capacity Development;
·
Managing Employees’ Careers &
Succession;
·
Managing Employees’ Performance;
·
Managing Compensation & Benefits;
·
Administering Workforce & Managing
Human Resource Information Systems(HRIS);
·
Managing Employee Relations and Staff
Exit; and,
·
Soliciting Sponsorships for Talents
Engagement.
5.
Planning and directing Group Human
Capital Management to achieve corporate objectives including the design and
management of framework for providing outsourced HR services to the Company’s
subsidiaries.
6.
Reviewing relevant regulations
pertaining to Human Capital Management, highlighting the imperatives for
compliance and developing and managing an effective delivery model of services
to relevant entities.
7.
Reviewing resource needs for the
Department, proposing budget to Management and monitoring and controlling
approved budget.
8.
Planning, implementing and monitoring
administration and procurement operations, with a view to accomplishing
effectiveness and efficiency and ensuring operations are in alignment with
corporate strategy and plans.
9.
Formulating and developing standards,
controls, policies and guidelines for all procurement and administration, in
alignment with relevant regulations.
10.
Special initiatives such as
operationalizing the online Human Capital Mobilization and development portal
created towards addressing the manpower needs of prospective clients
11.
Identify resource needs for
administration and procurements functions, develop operating budget in
alignment with corporate guidelines and monitor approved budget.
12.
Any other related services assigned by
the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer.

REQUIRED
QUALIFICATIONS

Degree in any Human Resource and/or
Management Science related disciplines
·
Masters Degree in a relevant discipline
will be an added advantage
·
Professional qualifications,
certifications and membership of HR professional bodies and associations
·
5-8 years of proven relevant experience
·
Proven programmatic, technical, and
managerial ability and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with
professional colleagues in a broad range of organisational activities
