Job Description
Responsibilities will include accurate customer account reconciliation of all credits and debits of on-account /unapplied on outstanding freight report, timely generation/good quality of collection made and receipting of all pending un-receipted bank payments, to show true position of customer’s account. This position entails good interaction with both internal and external customers thus requiring the right attitude and disposition (customer focus) for timely and accurate responses to accounts reconciliation and outstanding (Accounts Receivables) related issues.

THE PREFFERRED CANDIDATE WILL BE REQUIRED TO;
·                     Handle billing and payment collection.
·                     Ensure collections are registered correctly and timely.
·                     Make sure deposits are made to the bank and procedures complied with.
·                     Maintain the portfolio free of credit (negative balances)
·                     Follow up on on-account, unapplied and indentified payments, against applicable outstanding receivables.
·                     Weekly reporting of on-account / unapplied collection.
·                     Follow up with other agencies for foreign payment outstanding receivables.
·                     Escalate issue and disputes (AR) with the organization to get resolved/ update system accordingly.
·                     Enhance efficiency improvements within area of responsibility.

Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
·                     Minimum of a bachelor degree.
·                     Six months – 1 year previous experience in Accounts Receivable in a similar position is an added advantage.
·                     Previous experience with the use of ERP-systems (SAP-based) - financial processes are a definite advantage.
·                     Fluent in speaking and writing English.
Requirements
·                      Good interpersonal and communication skills.
·                      Adept with figures and highly analytical.
·                      Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
·                      Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced working environment.
·                      Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
·                      Ready to drive changes when needed.
·                      Coordination with global Organisation.
·                      Open to learn new things.
·                      Attention to detail.
·                      Strong drive and dedication
