Marking her father’s anniversary 15 years after he died in office, the daughter of the late military dictator, Gen. Sani Abacha, Gumsu, took to twitter recently to pay tribute.
She said she was still mourning and missed him dearly.

Her tweet caught the attention of former Minister of Aviation,
Femi Fani-Kayode who tweeted back at her, saying, “Ameen.”
Gumsu soon replied saying, “Thank you,’’ while Fani-Kayode
responded, “My pleasure, dear.’’
That was when spectators couldn’t hold it in anymore. According
to reports, Fani-Kayode’s followers on the social service wondered if he
was one of the Nigerians who subtly benefited from the Abacha regime.
“Fani-Kayode, sir, were you pro-Abacha?” one of his followers,
Dolapo Bello, queried in a tweet.
“Of course not. I was not pro-Abacha government. I was one of
those who fought his government,” Fani-Kayode replied.
A tweeter user called Abiodun, tweeting via @biodunonline,
reportedly confronted Gumsu, saying,
