I am honestly not a big fan
of Big Brother. The major thing I don’t understand is how people are locked up
in one house and they do all kind of acts. I vividly remember last year’s show;
my aunty was glued to her screen, most times I stared at her to really understand
what she was watching but I just could not understand anything. Even when they
tried explaining the show, I just thought it was a waste of precious time. Well
it’s official, the 8th season of Africa’s biggest reality show, Big Brother
Africa, is set to kick off on Sunday 26th, M-Net has announced.
Titled “The Chase”, the contest is expected to feature 28
contestants from 14 different countries across Africa vying for the cash prize
of $300,000 for 91days.
Although the list of contestants has not been released, regular
host IK Osakioduwa will remain the man behind the mic for this year’s edition.
M-Net
Africa Managing Director Biola Alabi says in a statement to the press stated that ‘We want to give audiences and
loyal fans of the show, a truly unforgettable viewing experience once again.
This season audiences can expect a show encompassing suspense, emotions, drama,
fun, excitement and quite possibly, as we have seen in previous seasons, a
little romance’
.
Big Brother – The Chase will be screened live 24/7 on DStv
channels 197 & 198. GOtv audiences will be able to see highlights.
